SUMMARY: Kim, a young poet and playwright, had written a play-in-one-scene called JSTMYN. Her friend, Shane, had adapted the play into a full-length show, and approached her about authorizing a production of the new version. They have arranged a meeting in a neighborhood park. Shane is planning to celebrate the signing of their first contract, and is shocked when Kim refuses to allowing Shane s "bastardization" of her work to be published or produced. A dispute over intellectual creative property erupts. The battle rages until Kim eventually reveals the true reason why the play means so much to her: Shane was the inspiration for the love story he destroyed. Ultimately, their collaboration on JSTMYN mirrors their uneven relationship.
